Detroit Belle Tire 19U (2017 16U Tier 1 National Champions)


I am fortunate to have been selected to join the Detroit Belle Tire 19U AAA Team.   This Team

is the core (13 players) of the Detroit Belle Tire 16U AAA Team that won the 2017 USA Hockey

16U Tier 1 National Championship.


We are currently ranked Fifth in the US Hockey Rankings with a record of 33 wins 13 losses and 5 ties.  We won the 19U Tier 1 CCM World Invitational Tournament in November.  My personal record thus far this season is 14 wins 5 losses, and 3 ties, while posting 6 shutouts with a 1.59 GAA.

The thing that I enjoyed most about watching this Team last year was their focus on playing together as a Team.  They will tell you that they won the National Championship by playing

as a Team.


I am one of only two birth year 2001 players on the Team and there are some post graduate players on the roster.  I am learning, I am challenged, and have a great Goalie Partner named Frankie Sanchez.    


Head Coach Mike Vigilante is driven and motivated and has set the bar very high for this squad. There is not much more to ask for in a Team.
